MMC Contrarian (ASX Code: MMA) is a funds management company that listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in December 2003.

The Company’s strategy is to:

• Create and invest in unlisted boutique fund managers in various asset classes;
• Acquire strategic stakes in existing funds management business; and
• Generate income for shareholders from two sources
  (a) returns on a pool of listed equities, cash and funds that are managed by our investee companies; and
  (b) recurring earnings from each manager that we create or acquire.

Currently MMC Contrarian owns two funds management businesses that together manage over $AUD450m of assets:
